Do you love wearing choker?
You’re at the right place!

Here’s how you can make a choker at home, it will cost nothing.
Yes, not a single penny because it is made from paper beads. I learned making paper beads in 5th or 6th standard I guess, I don't remember.
This is a basic idea of using paper beads, also it’s real quick and easy to make.



You’ll need:

  • Paper strips (or you can cut it from a paper) 
  • Elastic beading cord (or thread) 
  • Black nail paint 
  • Hooks (for closure)
  • Glue

Procedure:
  • For strips, Draw lines on white paper at the gap of 1cm then draw and cut diagonally as shown in the image below.
If you already have strips then cut it diagonally as shown above. You can use black strips also ultimately it’ll be painted black.
  • With the help of toothpick roll the strip to acquire the bead shape as shown below.
  • Now wrap the beading cord around your neck to measure the exact size you’ll need, make a fold, knot or mark there. (You can even use a thread)
  • First attach the hook, as shown in the image below make sure the knot is tight and trim the extra part.
  • Continue making the beads when you think you have enough paint it black with nail polish you can use color also, I prefer nail paint because it makes the choker durable and shiny. (I’ve used 31 beads here)
  • Make sure the beads reach the point you marked.
  • To attach other part of closure tie a knot tightly like it was done before.
    (You can refer to the image below) Trim the extra part.

The paper bead choker is ready!
